Bruised face..
05.19.07 (10:15 pm)   [edit]
A couple of weeks ago, I was practising to ride my Suzuki Samurai at night in the dark muddy snaky tracks of Auroville. I was finding it to change gears, and at that moment a friend called me in my cellphone. Unable to stop the bike in the dark, and trying to be 'handsfree', I was speaking in the cellphone holding with one hand and riding the bike with the other. Suddenly there was a confusing turn.. and I couldn't decide what to do. I tripped, fell down with the bike, my face straight on the muddy road..

Oh nooo... It hurt. My face was bruised and so was my hand. The cellphone and bike weren't. Well, I continued the conversation still lying on the road :)....

Later when I came to my home and saw my face on the mirror, my God! I looked like a monkey.. (is someone saying I already am like that?... get lost!). Balu gave me the first aid kit, and I did apply medicine and went to sleep.

Are you chained?
05.16.07 (11:11 am)   [edit]
Almost every person I meet is bound my an invisible chain called society. People tend to live not according to their hearts but according to other people's minds.

In spite of being an arranged marriage or love marriage I see that a lot of married couples are unhappy. Because most of the time, the problem that breaks in, is from external forces.

People fear to break those social chains. They aren't even aware of it first of all. Free thinking, love, humanity, care and mutual respect for each other.. the world is losing faith in all these slowly. I wish my family and friends at least have faith in these.

Living my dreams..
05.15.07 (10:04 am)   [edit]
I must be one of the happinest persons in the world. I am in a place which is so much beautiful in so many ways, I am in my dream projects, among people who are so wonderful, lovely and not at all vengeful.

I am here by the grace of God, my angels brought me here. Both divine and human spirits. I play my destiny.

My work, my life...
05.15.07 (9:45 am)   [edit]
It was one of the best decisions I made, and at the right time to leave the multinational company I was working in and coming to Auroville. Though it was painful at that moment, I am happy I did it.

I don't work in Svaram and Mohanam. I just enjoy it. We do fabulous things here. Mohanam Cultural Centre and Svaram Musical Instruments and Research station are my life. I am here to give all my energy, love and creative spirit for the projects. I am doing well. What is the use of just being Ms.Butterfly? I also have to be Ms.Honeybee working hard! And I am also a honeybee now.

The best thing about Auroville..
05.08.07 (4:53 pm)   [edit]
I love Auroville. In so many ways, it has taught me about the preciousness of Tamil culture. Indeed, I respect western culture and do have many western friends. But I had a kind of awakening when I see how much they had known about Tamil culture. Since then I urged myself to study more about the History of Tamil Culture, Lifestyle and Art..

I understand how much I had missed and what the young Tamils of my generation misses totally. Some of them are addicted to western influences mindlessly. Most of them are ignorant about the richness and wonder of our culture. Losing one's own identity and being a part of a global destructive monoculture is a shame.. So sad! I've been like that too. Thank God, I can 'think' now.

I am proud about being a Thamizhachi!

Back by request..
05.08.07 (4:39 pm)   [edit]
Yes dear ones, I decided to close this online journal and stop writing the 'craps'. And I was away.

But, there have been several requests from people asking me to continue writing and I decided to honour their affection and friendship for me. Isn't friendship the most precious thing in life? It is! Atleast for me for sure.

So here I am!
